Long-term Plans

The Long-term Plan for Education and Development of the Education System in the Moravian-Silesian Region is a strategic document that, in conjunction with the Long-term Plan for Education and Development of the Education System in the Czech Republic, is produced by the Regional Authority once every four years, based on provisions in the Education Act (Sec. 9 of Act 561/2004 Coll., on pre-school, primary, secondary, tertiary, professional and other education). This long-term plan establishes strategic goals and a roadmap for developing education and educational systems in the Region, including criteria for the development of the educational system and for the effectiveness of the network of schools and educational institutions.
