Current information about the Coronavirus desease (COVID-19) in the Region

We demand inhabitants of the Moravian-Silesian Region who have returned from all areas at high risk of transmitting coronavirus to contact their GPs by telephone immediately, to stay in quarantine and not to endanger other citizens.

Current occurrence of coronavirus COVID-19 in the Moravian-Silesian Region (in Czech only)

The restrictions in Moravian-Silesian Region valid from June 30:

  • The coronavirus information hotline: 1212
  • In case of serious health problems or life threats call lines 155 and 112
  • Throughout the Moravian-Silesian Region, the obligation to wear face masks at mass events for more than 100 people will continue to apply
  • In the districts of the Karviná and Frýdek-Místek mandatory mouth and nose cover applies in all indoor areas of buildings outside the residence and in public transport
  • At the same time, there will be a maximum of 100 people in natural and artificial swimming pools
  • The catering establishments are not allowed to be open between 23:00 and 8:00, including the outdoor areas of the establishment
  • Visits of patients in inpatient health care facilities and in social facilities in residential form are forbidden, with exceptions
  • Cross-border workers within the entire Moravian-Silesian Region will be obliged to submit a negative test certificate to their employer

Other information:

  • The Regional Authority has been reopened to the public during normal office hours. Nevertheless, personal contact should be limited to a minimum and written, electronic and telephone contact should be preferred.
