Tatra Technical Museum in Kopřivnice

The unique Tatra Technical Museum has captured nearly the 150-year tradition of car manufacturing since 1897, when the first passenger car in the Austrian-Hungarian Empire, the so called Präsident was produced. Various types of passenger cars and trucks, prototypes, chases and engines, but also an aircraft, a rail cycle or an aero-sledge and other interesting products of the Tatra brand are the biggest attraction for many visitors of the town. A real pride of the entire exposition is the aforementioned “Präsident”. In the museum there is also an exposition of Emil and Dana Zátopek, famous Czech Olympic Games winners.
