Virtual Tours of Sights in the Beskydy Mountains Region

The Beskydy Mountains were declared a protected landscape area in 1973, which they rightly deserve. With their area of 1,166km2 they are the biggest protected area in the Czech Republic and in addition to the beautiful nature, they offer many monuments of folk architecture, particularly unique small wooden churches and constructions. The location forms part of the Carpathian Bend with the height dominant – Lysá Mountain (1,323m above sea level) and walks on the mountainous paths offer breathtaking views and natural sceneries.
