Virtual Tours of Sights in the Jeseníky Region

The Jeseníky Mountains are situated in the most northern part of Moravia at the state border with Poland and their core is the Hrubý (Rough) Jeseník Mountains. The area further consists of the massive of the Kralický Sněžník, the Rychlebské Mountains and the Nízký (Low) Jeseník Mountains. All the above-mentioned mountain ranges, except for the Nízký Jeseník Mountains, exceed the altitude of 1,000m. The Nízký Jeseník Mountains with the highest mountain Slunečná (798m above sea level) form a slightly rolling plateau in the eastern part of the region. The Jeseníky Mountains provide ideal opportunities for recreation, tourism and sports, particularly winter ones. The entire area is interlaced with a dense network of marked tourist tracks and many recreational and sport centres offer possibilities of spending pleasant times at rest and sport activities in these Moravian mountains.
