Accessibility statement on the web presentation of the Moravian‑Silesian Region

The web presentation of Moravian-Silesian Region is created with regard to accessibility and is barrier free, in order to meet all mandatory and conditionally mandatory principles of accessibility according to the decree of accessibility no. 64/2008 Coll.

Description of the non-standard data formats used

On the website of the Moravian-Silesian Region, some information is available in a format other than text or hypertext.

Documents may occur in the following formats:

• PDF – for this format there is a free downloadable browser application – Adobe Acrobat Reader.
• OpenDocument (ODT, ODS, ODP) – formats can be displayed in a software program OpenOffice which is freely available.
• DOC, XLS, PPT – Microsoft provides for its Office products, free downloadable browser applications Word Viewer 2003. Excel Viewer 2003. PowerPoint Viewer 2003.
• RTF – can be displayed and edited by the most commonly available text editors.
• ZIP, RAR – compressed documents. Decompression of content can be performed by any software tool designed for this process.

In order to improve the promotion of tourism in the region and increase awareness among potential visitors, the Moravian-Silesian Region runs the presentation application "3D photo map of the Moravian-Silesian Region". In order to bring geographic information to the widest possible amount of users, the Moravian-Silesian Region operates a map application on the website which provides users with a mapping service.
